Black Country Museum

The Year 5 visit to the Black Country Living Museum went brilliantly. The children asked many interesting questions of the staff at the museum and explored different houses and shops. They went down into the mine, learning about the dangers that faced adult and child workers alike. They had a chance to see the limestone caves from a canal boat and found out about the jobs that people did transporting limestone around the canalways and how these evolved over time. They also enjoyed playing some traditional Victorian games!
