UK-based sixth form applicants sit examinations at Headington in the November before their proposed entry, and places will normally be offered in November. Interviews take place on the same day as the examinations. Girls proposing to join Headington in the sixth form will typically expect to gain a minimum of 6 GCSEs at grade A-B.
Overseas applicants
Overseas candidates must sit an examination for entry at any age, and this will incur a fee of £250. Where appropriate, an interview may also be arranged in the candidate's home country - please contact Admissions for details. Examination papers should be sent to the British Council or British Embassy, Education Department, who make a further small charge for this facility.
Overseas sixth form candidates will sit exams based on their proposed sixth form subjects, as well as an EFL paper if English is not their first language.
