For girls entering at 11+, 12+ and 13+, interviews are held in the autumn term prior to a girl's intended entry to the school. Interview day is a relaxed, informal occasion, giving girls the chance to see the school again and to meet other girls in their prospective year group, whilst giving staff the opportunity to get to know your daughter. If you have not visited the school by this point, please feel free to contact Admissions to arrange an appointment.
Entry to the school at 11+ and 13+ is by the ISEB Spring Common Entrance examination. Girls must be registered with the ISEB by 1st December of the year prior to entry. If your daughter attends an independent prep school, her school will typically arrange this registration. Those in the maintained sector should contact Admissions by 20 November 2010 in order to ensure that their daughters are entered for examinations.
Girls entering at 12+ and 14+ sit the school's own examinations.
Senior School entrance examinations take place in January, and offers are made within three weeks of the examination date.
Overseas candidates must sit an examination for entry at any age. Where appropriate, an interview may also be arranged in the candidate's home country - please contact Admissions for details. Examination papers should be sent to the British Council or British Embassy, Education Department, who make a further small charge for this facility.
