Welcome to Headington Prep.

It is my belief that happy children thrive. At Headington Prep we will encourage your daughter not only to meet her potential and fly, but to exceed it and to soar. These early years in which patterns of learning are established are some of the most influential in your daughter’s school career. Our broad curriculum and wide range of extra curricular activities will teach her how to learn, how to think for herself and how to question.

Based in a rambling Victorian house just one mile from the centre of Oxford, Headington Prep combines a friendly, family atmosphere with a top-quality, broad-based education for girls aged 3-11. We teach children to be forward thinking and adaptable, and they grow into confident individuals with excellent social skills and strong global awareness.

I believe that the ability to communicate and build good relationships is an essential quality for a happy and fulfilled life. If your daughter is respected at school, she will respect others; if she is listened to, she will learn to listen, and if she is treated with honesty, thoughtfulness and generosity, I know that she will respond in kind. At Headington Prep, our pupils inspire us in our teaching and it is their right and our duty that we should inspire them.
