57 straight As at A Level
Well done to Headington's Class of 2008! 57 of our 107 candidates were delighted to find straight As inside their results envelopes this morning, and 90% of all papers were awarded grade A or B.
34 girls gained three straight As, 14 four straight As, eight had five straight As and one girl took an astonishing six As – well done to all of them! Headmistress Mrs Coutts said, ‘Girls and staff have worked hard to achieve this, and I congratulate them. At Headington, girls learn to balance work with play, and I know that these girls will contribute much more to their universities than mere academic success.’
