Meet the team
The four-strong Admissions team works closely together, handling enquiries and visits from prospective parents with daughters of all ages. The department will look after all aspects of your relationship with the school up until the time your daughter joins us, including visits, entrance examinations, Open Mornings and new pupil days.
Sue Sowden, Admissions Registrar
Sue manages the Prep School and Sixth Form entry as well as managing the Admissions department as a whole. Sue works closely with the Headmistress, Anne Coutts, to control all aspects of entry to Headington School.
Tracy Wright, Deputy Registrar
Tracy manages all entries from 11+ at 13+, as well as supporting the Registrar, Sue Sowden, in all areas.
Myra Velk, Administration Assistant
Myra is responsible for all entries at 12+ and 14+, and will also be your first point of contact when you arrange to visit the school.
Brigitta Coombs, Admissions Assistant
Brigitta handles all prospectus enquiries, processes new pupil information and sources school reports.
